We were able to make it up to Logan last week to honor Chris' grandpa who passed away. It was a sad occasion to gather together for but it was so nice to see family and spend some time together remembering grandpa Liechty and attending his funeral. We were able to meet/see people cousins whom Chris had not seen in many years and whom I had never met. We love our Liechty Clan! Chris looks alot like his grandpa and it was neat to get to hear stories of his life and the many, many people who's lives he touched. Grandpa served in WWII and helped to liberate Dachau. I was very touched to hear of his life and deeds especially his ties to Germany and stories of his experiences. We are so grateful to know that our family is forever and that he is whole, happy and preparing to see all of his posterity again some day.

It was very touching to see these heroes offer a final solute to Grandpa Liechty. The entire service was very nice.

With almost all of our Liechty clan, minus 3 men in Texas whom we hope to see soon!

Toph with his beautiful sisters! Lucky guy!

Toph with his cousins and sibs!

The cute Liechty grand kids! A.k.a. our northern nieces and nephews who we wish that we saw more often!

Never camera shy!

Good bye Cache Valley! We will come again!
