Who kissed who first? I did, he tried many times, but when I finally did he said I attacked him . . . or as Trey would say "Aunt Emily is the Cheetah and Uncle Chris is the Zebra!" (I beg to differ, a bit)
Who asked out who first? I invited him to a fireside with a group from our ward, but he asked me out on our first real date!
Who proposed? Chris did on February 28,2006. (But we had already been planning the wedding since November!)
Who is taller? Chris is . . . I am 5'2" he's 5'8"
Who does laundry? We both do!
Who does the dishes? We do them together. (I also adopted my moms system of wash as you work)

Who pays the bills? We both do!
Who mows the lawn? Our landlord!
Who cooks dinner? I usually do, but Chris is always willing to and helps out! He really loves to spice things up!
Who drives when you are together? It depends on who is more tired and what vehicle we take.

Who is cleaner? We both like things clean but I am OCD sometimes!
Who has more siblings? Chris has 3 sisters, I have 4 sisters and 1 brother.
Who wears the pants in the family? I think we try to share the wearing of the "pants"
Whose parents do you see more often? hmm, I guess my parents, but we talk on the phone to Toph's parents more.

Who wakes up first in the morning? Chris!!! (unless I have to work early)
What qualities do you love about your hubby? He ALWAYS thinks of/puts me first, he warms my cold feet, he is so patient with me, he likes my cooking, he always makes sure we go on a date every week, he makes me laugh, his eyes and smile, he is just adorable!

We were able to attend Lauren's baby blessing this weekend and had fun with dinner at my parents house afterwards! She is growing so fast and makes her new cousin Austin seem even smaller! They are both beautiful babies and it was fun to finally get a picture of the family togther!
Today the book "The High Rise Glorious Skittle Skat Roarious Sky Pie Angel Food Cake" popped into my head! I read it when I was in second or third grade and thought that it was awesome! I remember talking to my mom about it and how amazing it was! My mom is an avid reader and always has something amazing to share or a new read to entice me to. She always has read the ones that we were interested in too! Some of my favs from childhood are Number the Stars, Summer of the Monkeys, Hatchet, Peppermints in the Parlor, The Indian in the Cupboard series, Nancy Drew's, The Boxcar Children books, The Polar Express, Anne of Green Gables, etc. Books are just awesome! Read!
As a kid growing up I remember scanning thru what I thought was the coolest book ever "Today's Tips For Easy Living" by Dian Thomas. I guess she used to be the genius crafty lady on the Today show. Anyways I loved that book and last fall I found a copy at Deseret Book! It was the holy grail of all finds! I would have bought everyone I know one . . . but their was only one . . . so now I am relishing it! The ideas within are brilliant as are the recipes! I made the Chili Chip casserole for dinner last night and Chris LOVED it!!! (It was very nummy!) So I have included the recipe . . .
There are some things that bring out the beast in people . . . going back to work Monday mornings, muddy shoe tracks thru your house, teaching the Valient 12 class, and the game of RISK!!! I don't know what it is but battleing for control of the world can get a little elbow jabbing going on! We played last night with Lowry's and had a lot of fun! We even managed to get 2 games in by 11:30 whereas in the past we have been up past 1:00 playing one game . . . I don't know if that is improvement? But we had fun and Dan won both games with me coming in second the first game and Toph in second the second game! If I have more than 4 or 5 guys in a country I start feeling ambitious and battle everyone within reach . . . which in the end leads to my downfall. Anywho we survived the battle and will play another day!
My beautiful older sister welcomed son #3 today at 11:58.
Austin Rodney Smith weighs 8 lbs and is 20.5 inches long and looks like his brothers and is named after my dad. They are so excited to have him in their family! Big brother Brecky has been anxious to share his toys 
with him and feed him applesauce. (Though they'll have to wait a bit longer before he gets down in the dirt with them.) Congrats Dan and Julie! He is perfect! Now you just need one more to have all of the ninja turtles covered!

Hurray, hurray we are celebrating our 2nd Anniversary this lovely 13th day of May! These past two years have been full of incredible experiences and have taught us so much about each other! I knew that Chris was amazing before I married him but marriage has just made me appreciate him more than ever! He is seriously the kindest, funniest, most patient, loving and out-going husband! I could not ask for more! What can I say, I aimed for the stars and caught the brilliance of the moon and the warmth of the sun in the process. Each day with Chris is simply better than the one before! I am so blessed to have an honorable priesthood holder who respects and honors me everyday! I love you so much Toph! You are my hot bowl of chili! Happy Anniversary!
