So since spring semester finally came to an end and I desperately needed to get away for a bit . . . so I planned a little road trip for us of places never before visited by us or not visited for a long time!

We started our exciting day trip at the Old Irontown Mission. Toph had been their and I can't remember if I had (with my parents and the all day mineral field trip for my 8th grade science class . . . I find it hard to believe that I missed this place!)

I loved the crumbling walls!

The view was awesome and it was a perfect day to get out and enjoy spring!

I LOVED the tall grass! (But not the swarms of bugs circling the air above them!

The little blast furnace . . .

Exciting ruins!

The Spanish Rass

This was in a ditch . . . the horses must have broken many ankles trying to walk around it!

Cloud Watching . . . it was supposed to rain torrents . . . but we only got 5 drops!

The "scenic route" to Pinto!

Pinto . . . blink and you'll miss it!

Leaving Pinto . . .

More clouds on the way to the Mountain Meadow Massacre site . . .

Gunlock Reservoir . . .

Red rock . . . love it!

Rounding the bend to Santa Clara . . . we passed Grandma Tobler's and thought of Mom and Dad L. It was a fun little excursion and a great day to go! I know that we have inspired you all to venture out and explore now!
